Namyaa, Vyomini Hold Menstrual Health Workshop

Namyaa, an Indian feminine hygiene and personal care brand, partnered with Vyomini Social Foundation to conduct a menstrual health and hygiene awareness workshop in Delhi.

The workshop witnessed participation from over 100 women belonging to rural and underprivileged communities, who were educated on menstrual health, hygiene management, myth-busting, and safe menstrual practices. The initiative aimed to empower women with knowledge, encourage open dialogue around menstruation, and promote healthier hygiene habits.

As part of the outreach, Namyaa distributed hygiene kits to all participants, reusable Menstrual cups, intimate wash, Hair removal cream, Underarm Roll-on and Hair removal spray ensuring access to safe, effective, and sustainable menstrual care products.

Speaking on the initiative, Prachi Kaushik, Founder & Director, Vyomini Social Foundation said, “Menstrual health awareness is fundamental to women’s dignity and overall well-being. Through this collaboration, our objective was to create a safe and informed environment where women feel confident to understand their bodies and adopt hygienic practices. At Vyomini, we are committed to breaking taboos and ensuring that every woman has access to the right information and products to manage her menstrual health comfortably. We strongly believe in the power of collaboration to reach more women, and we have undertaken similar partnerships in the past — this initiative is another meaningful step in that direction.”

Reflecting on the collaboration, Karan Gupta, Director of Namyaa, stated, “Menstrual and intimate hygiene should be treated as a regular part of women’s health rather than a subject surrounded by hesitation or limited awareness.”

He further added, “For countless women in underserved communities, access to accurate information on menstrual and intimate hygiene has remained out of reach. Through this initiative, we seek to bridge that gap by taking essential knowledge directly to women for whom awareness and support have long been absent, while creating safe, respectful spaces for open dialogue at the grassroots level.”

Namyaa is an Indian feminine hygiene and intimate care brand committed to advancing women’s health through awareness, education, and community-led initiatives that promote menstrual dignity and informed self-care. Complementing these efforts, the brand offers a thoughtfully curated range of plant-based personal care products, including reusable menstrual cups and menstrual cup wash, intimate wash, and hair removal solutions, designed to support holistic well-being, comfort, and sustainable menstrual practices for women.

Vyomini Social Foundation is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing women’s health, menstrual awareness, and entrepreneurship across India. Thefoundation has successfully conducted over 15,000 menstrual health awareness workshops, educated more than 3 million women, and enabled the creation of over 10,000 women entrepreneurs across both rural and urban communities in multiple states. Vyomini works at the grassroots level to drive behavioural change through education, advocacy, and community engagement.

The workshop reflects the shared mission of Namyaa and Vyomini Social Foundation to normalise conversations around menstruation and promote the belief that menstrual health is a right, not a privilege, reinforcing the message of “Her Dignity, Her Pride.”
