Unlike conventional renewable systems that depend on a single energy source, mongrel systems combine reciprocal energy forms—solar power during the day and wind power during the night or cloudy conditions—to give a further harmonious energy affair. This mongrel setup minimizes intermittency issues and maximizes effectiveness, delivering dependable and cost-effective green power to MRF’s installations. To apply this design, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) has been established. Under this arrangement, Serentica Renewables holds the majority equity, while MRF Ltd. retains a minority stake. The electricity generated will be transmitted through India’s Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS), allowing the power to reach multiple MRF shops located in different countries.
