Omega Healthcare’s Sangam 2025 Highlights Social Impact Beyond Livelihoods

Omega Healthcare, through its social impact arm, the Omega Forum for Social Impact (OFSI), has reaffirmed its commitment to driving sustainable and inclusive community development. At its annual flagship platform, Sangam 2025, the company reimagined the role of CSR by demonstrating how corporates can move beyond compliance to create meaningful and measurable impact.

With the theme “Beyond Livelihoods: Seeding Futures, Shaping Journeys,” Sangam 2025 brought together corporate leaders, NGOs, and community representatives for a day of leadership keynotes, expert panels, and recognitions for employees who have contributed to OFSI programs.

The event also celebrated community resilience through a vibrant craft bazaar, where women entrepreneurs and Seva Shakthis – grassroots women leaders supported by OFSI, showcase their work. This marketplace serves as a bridge between communities and corporate stakeholders, creating avenues for direct engagement and empowerment.

“Omega Healthcare believes healthcare is not just about patients in hospitals or data on screens, it’s about people, communities, and the future we want to build together. The same scale and innovation we bring to healthcare services can also empower women, enable education, strengthen rural health, and open pathways to dignity and opportunity. Sangam is proof that when corporate vision meets community commitment, the impact is real and lasting,” said Sunanda Rangarajan, CEO, OFSI.

Over the past six months, OFSI initiatives have positively impacted the lives of more than 160,000 individuals in underserved regions of South India. Flagship programs such as Project 10K are skilling rural youth for employment, while Seva Shakthis, a growing network of women community leaders, are driving change at the grassroots level. Some of the focus areas include primary healthcare (including mental health), women’s leadership, market-linked skilling, and community enablement.

As Omega Healthcare continues to expand its business footprint, it remains equally committed to strengthening its social impact. Through OFSI and platforms like Sangam, the company is demonstrating that corporate growth and community well-being can go hand in hand while creating a model of responsibility that is measurable, scalable, and truly transformative.
