The proposed areas of cooperation include Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Solar Parks, Energy Storage, and Smart Grids, which the Prime Minister described as critical for setting new transnational marks in sustainable development.
Speaking during high-position conversations with Omani leadership, PM Modi emphasized that the energy cooperation between India and Oman must evolve in line with the global shift towards cleaner and further flexible energy systems. He noted that both countries partake in a common vision of profitable growth that’s environmentally responsible and technologically advanced.
“ We need to set up new marks in the field of Green Hydrogen, Green Ammonia, Solar Parks, Energy Storage, and Smart Grids, ” the Prime Minister said, adding that these sectors offer immense openings for invention, investment, and job creation. He stressed that cooperation in green energy would not only strengthen bilateral ties but also contribute to global efforts to combat climate change.
Green hydrogen surfaced as a central pillar of the proposed collaboration. PM Modi pointed out that India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission aims to make the country a global mecca for green hydrogen product and import. Oman, with its strategic position, renewable energy eventuality, and growing interest in clean energies, was linked as a natural mate in this trouble.
